Episode based payments to all practitioner with RO Model Billing

We can’t change regulations and changes are coming to the Radiation Oncology industry.  CMS has dictated a new system of episode based payments using what is called the RO Model payment system.  The hope is for simplified billing and predictable payments so physicians can focus on patient care. RO Model Billing is an innovative attempt to accomplish these goals in cancer treatment and specifically the administrative side of it.  However, it is not simple to perform at this stage and mistakes may be costly to a practice.
