...it was an awesome long Coastal Weekend Trip to the sunny beaches, crowded city centers, and calm ’n’ quiet suburbs. During those three days we were lucky enough that some of the greatest City Pop hits were our background.
PACIFIC Vibe is a series of 3D illustrations through which I wanted to pay tribute to one of my favorite illustrators and artists — Mr. Hiroshi Nagai. Each of the illustrations is recreation of one of Mr. Nagai paintings, and my main goal was to refer to the atmosphere and mood of those paintings using completely different technique — 3D modeling.
Mr. Hiroshi Nagai himself saw those illustrations and gave me his permission to share PACIFIC Vibe with you, so please make yourself comfy and enjoy your ride through some sunny and groovy coastlines.
This illustration is purely my homage that I wanted to give to one of my favorite artist. All rights belong to Mr. Hiroshi Nagai. Any commercial use is strictly prohibited.
