Global search from a command line

At Flywheel, we've been exploring how to deliver insights to our customers (about their customers) as quickly as possible.

We first implemented a global search shortcut (Command + K)that resulted in a command palette. This allowed the user to find the correct result and navigate to their record to find more information.

However, we eventually decided to implement a split-screen experience that provided insights without actually navigating to the returned record. This allows our customers to stay in-context and avoid switching screens.
