Every nation has its outstanding artists. Spain has Dali, the USA has Vorghol and Ukraine has Maria Prymachenko. Her extraordinary naive paintings were closely connected with the nature and land where she lived. She was one of the prominent painters of the 20th century who kept the Ukrainian soul under the pressure of the communist totalitarian system.

Thanks to Russian occupants of the 21st century her museum was destroyed on the 27th of February. Some of her works were burned.
