Nomadstay is a brand of Properties and Travel App, which aims to help travelers or newcomers to easily find a place to stay, whether for a temporary stay or a long stay.

USER EXPERIENCE

Background

Everyone needs a job. The job sometimes require people to move from one city to another, even across countries. The question that often arises is how do we adapt to the many factors in a new place. Living costs, housing, culture, transpotation, etc. It takes a lot of time and effort to do research as to what kind of place we are going and how to plan for the future life in a new place. In fact, sometimes people are reckless and take risks until they finally feel uncomfortable in new place.

Brief

We need an app that can show people places to live that can be rented or purchased. Then the user can find out all the details about the place that will be their residence such as living cost, housing, surrounding facilities, culture, transportation, etc.

User stories

Case 1

Adi (27 years old) is an employee in an office in Surabaya, and needs to meet some clients in Jakarta for a presentation. The official trip will take about 2 days in Jakarta.

Case 2

Magdalena (25 years old) is an employee at a large startup in Jakarta, and WFH. Wanting to experience a new atmosphere, Magda wanted to stay in Bali for 4 weeks for work as well as vacation.

Case 3

Marvel (23 years old) is a fresh graduate in Malang who was accepted as a contract employee for 6 months at a company in California, USA. After the visa & other matters are completed, Marvel has to move to San Jose, California, USA in 3 months.

There is a slight difference in content when users have determined their destination or not (just looking at accommodation details).

If you have determined the destination point, there will be additional information such as how far it is from the accommodation location, even the estimated price of transportation between the two points. Meanwhile, if you have not determined the point, the additional information is not available.

CONCLUSION

With Nomadstay, traveling to a new place, temporarily or for a long time, becomes more calm and pleasant, because it is easy to obtain accommodation information at the destination along with supporting information.
