Mural design // Norrsken Kigali House - Rwanda

The concept behind this design is to allow NORRSKEN EAST AFRICA to be seen as a powerhouse of innovation, entrepreneurship and technology. The whole visual narrative here takes place inside a hub, an incubator of ideas and visions, powered by technology, using it as a gateway for knowledge and innovation, making and shaping potentials in ways that could be shared by forging strong meaningful connections in both Africa and a global scale.

The main character on the left side is a representation of this powerhouse, a gateway, forging the way by pointing to the right direction, reaching for a switch that will in turn provide access and opportunities for growth by setting the right momentum for future entrepreneurs.

Such representation can be put up-front as a metaphor for greatness, by having a better understanding of our inner potentials, ready to be transformed into greater achievements.

Various concepts are portrayed here by the use of magical realism, mystic beauty and aesthetics of the land with a futuristic and visionary aspect of African culture, with special references and respect to the AMASUNZU culture and traditions to give a better sense of belonging and empowerment through an amalgamation of both past and future.
