Timescales Cover Art

I suppose I'm being slightly self-indulgent by posting the cover art of my own album as my debut Dribbble, but here it is! This is the cover of my debut album Timescales, a 13-song record that came out on my own label last year.

The sunburst-style data visualization that forms the main part of the design was generated using d3.js, then exported for further treatment in Photoshop. The data on display is a representation of each song's multitrack session, with the inner circle representing each of the 13 tracks on the album, the middle circle representing each sub-mix / bus in the song's session, and the outer circle representing individual audio channels in the song's session.
