Arthur has Died

hello! My name is Stan and I am a NYC based branding designer. I am SO psyched to be a part of the dribbble community!

I wanted to introduce myself with a passion project of mine. This is a portrait of grandmother Claire, who is a recent widow. I wanted to capture her resting expression at my grandfather Arthur's wake. It was a somber, important moment and one that I hoped to memorialize on paper.

This piece was illustrated in its entirety in Illustrator (cs5) with only texture being added in Photoshop.
