Me in the Multi-Colored Written Word

Me in the Multi-Colored Written Word: Colored Pencil on cold press paper; 2289X1676—being a child who wrote constantly and dreamed of one day being a full-time writer, this piece was a must for me. I chose to place the “ME” at the bottom of the page encircled in red to represent life smothering me as I scream out all of the things that represent my past, present, and future—the clumps of words/phrases are color-coded by categories of time in my life leading to the “ME” in the triangle at the top of the page. Since triangles represent enlightenment, it is the progression of a lowly circle screaming to find the freedom to enlightenment.
