Dash

Excited to announce, that I've officially joined the team behind Amazon's newest IoT smart object, Dash! It's an incredible opportunity to literally redefine how millions of people buy their groceries on a day-to-day basis.

One of my first projects was to rethink the device setup flow. Dash is a headless Wi-Fi only device, meaning that trying to get it setup for your home network can be difficult, especially on an iOS device. Version 2.0 of setup simplifies that process, thanks to an innovative approach that utilizes ultrasonic audio (high frequency sound waves).

In addition to the new UX, we also took the opportunity to refresh visual styles, modernizing its look & feel and reinforcing the "user guide manual" aesthetic. Here's a few screens from the new flow. Checkout the 2x! Cheers.
