Calvin Klein — Navigation

Oh hello, Dribbble

Here’s a look at some of the work we did for Calvin Klein

As a global lifestyle brand, CK is known for iconic essentials and bold, innovative designs. We partnered with CK to evolve their ecommerce experience through data driven insights and intuitive digital best practices. Their previous experience had challenges around site performance, conversion and retention, limited responsive behaviors across devices and was built on relatively outdated tech.

We began by diving into a diagnostics phase, digging deep into the analytics, best practices and stakeholder interviews. All to provide a detailed UX / UI recommendation summary, release roadmap and future plan.

The navigation became our first point of interest. CK had built their reputation as a leader in fashion through a clean, progressive aesthetic. Our team began by taking the brand principles and translating them into digital pillars that would guide our work as we build a clean, innovative wayfinding solution to help focus and guide users as they explore, browse and search for products across CK.com.

The overarching vision was to make their site feel like a flagship store  — being the most authentic and impressive expression of their brand. We partnered with their ecommerce, UX and marketing teams to infuse minimalist, avant-garde, and accessible solutions that could support core products as well as new brand collaborations like Heron Preston.

The result? A simplified, curated approach to navigation that highlights the CK brand while supporting site performance through an easy-to-use, elevated user experience.
