Logofolio Vol. 11
Logofolio Volume 11
2022 Q1
The newest set of logos that have come from both chosen and unchosen client work, as well as some personal projects, are some of the best examples of my work, how I think, and who I am as a designer. I hope you can say the same and gain some insight/inspiration when looking through my new, curated collection. Thanks!

Cubi
By incorporating the essence of a sphere directly in the center of the more solid and surrounding cube-like-shape, and by alternating the same three colors in adjacent sections, a very sophisticated and almost illusionary effect is created. As I progress in my career, and as brands/the world move more and more into the digital space, I’m starting to see that logos like these (which cannot be shown in one color but still have the same impact) become more and more valued.
Aspen
This logo mark is the runner up in the personal project, ‘Aspen,’ which is on my profile, due to very similar reasons that I picked the winner. This iteration is also very geometrically ‘perfect’ and very well balanced.

A rotating hexagonal shape for a clinical trial recruitment platform was definitely one of the biggest styles that the team over at Suits & Sandals and I wanted to try out, but we actually did not end up going in this exact direction.
Silver Creek
For a modular construction company, this logo represents the new face, but same, industry and world changing sustainable techniques utilized in their business practices. Lots of logos and iterations came from this project which can be seen in a couple of my logofolios.

There were lots of explorations for this trial recruitment company, but one constraint that eventually led us to very fun and unique explorations was the constraint of using the hexagonal shape.
Aspenlane
From an exploration for a vacation home investment company, this logo is somewhat of an optical illusion. I primarily intended to make this logo centered around the idea of a triangular prism solely to capture the shape of the roof. However, through internal iteration/revision, the final version came out also looking like the house itself. This one is a favorite of mine.
Omega
The logo mark specifically utilizes gestalt theory, but as for the accompanying type, a typeface which matched the sophistication visually was important. This logo is just a small personal project, but I hope to turn it into a full blown portfolio piece sooner or later.
Aspen
The amount of movement and the use of dynamic lines that again use the theory of gestalt create one of my strongest logos yet. I feel as if it embodies the fitness industry.

This mark is very, very simple, but that is a very, very good thing. This mark is memorable because of this fact and therefore will leave a longer lasting imprint from the first moment that users come across the logo.
Amplify
I feel as if this logo is the epitome of the modernist style due to the use of Neue Haas Grotesk and a simple, signifying symbol that are paired to create more than the sum of their parts.
TruConnect
This is my favorite out of the bunch for TruConnect, due to the fun and warm feeling that the letter forms create, while still being constructed of simple, geometric shapes, that contain the letter ‘T’ and ‘C.’
Aspenlane
For a vacation home investment company, this mark is pretty straight forward like most of my logos that have ‘communication’ at the forefront of my mind. I combined the shape of an arrow and a house by utilizing theory of gestalt and negative space. I really like the strength that the three bold and similar shapes that you see bring, especially if one does not see the house and arrow first.
Cosmos
Although for a vacation home investment company of a different name, this logo mark was inspired by organic, natural, and elevated materials such as the grain of sought after types of wood. The lines that intersect the house ended up feeling like dust scattered across the cosmos, so there is a level of versatility within this symbol that I like.
Stackd
Using arrows in such a fashion led to the eye being pushed around the composition in a rotational manner. I feel as if creates a very unified logo mark that has lots of movement and bold shapes.

For a clinical trial recruitment company that is based off of the idea of bees, this one plays very much on the gooey like substance of honey with soft end points/vertices.
Swarm
Athough unused, this iteration of a hexagonal logo for a clinical trial patient recruitment company is very free and constraint bending. It is inspired by the targeting of people who may be interested in looking for clinical trials to participate in, which is conveyed perfectly here.
Aspen
I created this symbol for a personal project, ‘Aspen’ that is on my behance profile and website. Rotational symmetry was a large player into the creation of these 50 or so iterations. I feel utilizing symmetry, but this rotational symmetry in specific creates such a dynamic and strong logo mark.
Market Reader
Recreating the feeling one gets when seeing something fast and full of energy is an interestingly hard emotion to capture, but with this one I tried just that. This one was for a stock market insight platform.
Yubi
This word mark was created to practice creating logo forms out of very geometric shapes while keeping legibility at the top of the priority list. This modern style is very indicative of my work and who I am as a person.
Aspen
Also from the ‘Aspen’ project, this logo mark is very reminiscent of its siblings. This one in particular takes advantage of not an irregular hexagon, but a triangle in order to still have the general shape of the letter ‘A,’ but with the history of the triangular shape.
TruConnect
By slightly iterating, both through the contents of the logo and how they are displayed, on the previous logo of TruConnect, which contained the letter ‘T’ and a human, a more balanced and easy to ‘read’ logo. This one was unused, but I think it works well.
Dwello
The natural and man made feeling that comes with such rigid and connected shapes really elevates this one - especially with an untouched, simple serif typeface.
TruConnect
Through the helpful minds over at Marchio who asked me for their help on branding a wireless phone company, we created several iterations that focused on slight revisions on their current logo, which was a symbol comprising of the letter ‘T’ and a person. This one in particular focuses on making the letter ‘T’ more impactful by increasing the level of ‘grandness.’
Market Reader
One of my most recent projects was for a stock market insight company that lets its users know why whatever stock they are investing in or are watching is fluctuating. This logo mark takes advantage of ‘data’ like forms that contrast harshly, but not in a unexpected or unpredictable way.
