St. Louis Perfectos Baseball Club (1899)

Attempt to modernize some of the oldest sports franchises in North America. This is the Saint Louis Perfectos, the team that replaced the St. Louis Browns for a single season. With the name change, came a color change. The new color was so popular that people called the team by the new color...Cardinal. Thus the St. Louis Cardinals were born the following year.
