I was very excited to learn that Dribbble has added case studies to the site so I rushed to get one on here. This joint tin project felt like the perfect first entry.

This is one of my favorite pieces of packaging I've designed for Willie's Reserve. This tin holds 5 joints and is now available in Colorado, Washington, California, and Maryland.

Here you can see some of the developmental sketches I did along the way. A trick i was using at the time was to print out multiples of the design as it was part way finished and then draw on top of that in pencil to help plot out my next move.

So far it seems our customers are big fans of the design. Always a point of pride for me when a piece of my packaging helps add value to one of our products.

Also proud to announce that my design took a gold in the 2019 Seattle American Advertising Awards and was among the top 5 entries according to total judge's score! It was also a winner of the prestigious Communication Arts Design Award and a Print Magazine Regional Design Award.
