Saint Stephen Lager Label

Saint Stephen is a Vienna style lager based on both a Cathedral in Vienna and a Grateful Dead song. This design is pretty intricate and symmetrical, giving that cathedral vibe with the architectural arches and stained glass. Many of the shapes I pulled directly from images of the Saint Stephen cathedral. You'll see some nods to beer worked in - hops + barely - and I also worked in elements (and color) from the Grateful Dead song lyrics - rose, rain, moonlight, sun, ladyfinger flower. In the center I drew my own interpretation of Saint Stephen, basing his look off traditional medieval-style religious portraits.
