3D Illustration for Augmented Reality

Blog/article header images are a great way to practice and expand 3D skills.
Usually, the theme is set, but there are very few creative boundaries. In this design, I wanted to move away from the common AR representations "view-through the mobile frame" and try a more abstract, yet intuitive design.
The idea was to use a 3D form of a typical 2D icon for AR, and combine it with 3D furniture. This is the final result and the final article (also a great read).
