Moonbase 8-Bit Mobile Game

In 2020, Google launched their Moonshot Thinking and it set the motion for GitHub Game Off’s theme of that year. Moonbase became our official entry to the game-hackathon. While we didn’t make it to the cut, I’m still including this to my portfolio to highlight the creative process between me and my partner developers.

Moonbase  is a story-driven game about building the first lunar colony aboard the Luna-X Mission. The first settlers on the Moon must be able to maintain stable living conditions amid harsh environmental presets and utilitarian milieu.

Moonbase is a science fiction game loosely based on NASA’s objectives for the Artemis Mission. We used GB Studio for the initial stages of the prototype.
