GIRROR

Last weekend I attended a Health Hackathon event in Melbourne, where my team developed an iOS and Android application that tracks the moods, emotions and behaviours of patients addicted to gambling.

The idea of the app would be to alert patients randomly throughout the day via push notifications to inform them to complete a short series of questions of their current mood/behaviour. This would then be followed up by a short reaction game we developed.

Unfortunately we didn't get to finish the app, but it was wickedly fun working on it with a great bunch of people over a weekend. I've just attached a snippet of the app landing page design which I was particularly happy with.

All our code can be found on:

PS. We just came up with a fun name for the app based on "gambling mirror". I believe "GIRROR" is pronounced like 'mirror with with a g', but who knows? I think there was at least 50 variations of people trying to pronounce it over the 2 days ha!
