2019 Grenache - Natural Wine Label Design

Grenache is a unique, tasty grape variety that I hadn't tried before. As part of the initial design exploration I tasted several varieties to understand their complexities. Barebottle's wine labels are built around using color to communicate the individual wine's character and flavor.

So in this case, I was working to understand how to balance the colors of a Grenache versus a Pinot Noir. How would you think about the differences between this wines and using color to contrast?

To me, Grenache gave a jammy, dark forest fruit note that was rich and inviting. Translating that to a bottle label, I paired a succulent raspberry gradient with a luxurious gold foil.
