Natural Wine Label Designs

2019 Barebottle Natural Wine Vintages: When I heard that Barebottle was awarded the FIRST joint beer/wine production license in California, I was ecstatic! Designing a brand extension such as this is a once in a life time opportunity.

For a design perspective, crafting a wine label that spoke to the "Natural" aspect of the wine while remaining cohesive with our overall brand was the crux of the design. Utilizing our iconic BAREBOTTLE mark across the label provided the cohesive feel I was looking for, however the labels needed contrast from our craft beer labels. Inspired by the idea of a lost monolith being discovered with grape vines growing through it, I crafted the base vine/logo combo. Then I can adjust the colors to reflect the individual wine.

Our first year of production we produced a Pinot Noir, a Grenache, and a Chardonnay.
