Homely targets young first-time homeowners and creatives who don't want to call their dads when they want to put together a floating shelf in their room.Using a power drill for the first time can be intimidating for some people, but the experience shouldn't be that scary.

The app's goal is to empower people to create and improve their environment with their own hands. The app lets users search for specific projects, just like creating a nightstand, making a vegetable garden, and so on. By clicking on a project, the app will showcase a step-by-step tutorial with recommended prepacked toolkits. For experienced users, it is also possible to search and rent individual tools through the app.

Visually, I went for a crafty, DIY vibe, using bold colors with organic shapes and patterns. I mixed in photographs because I wanted to show a more "if I can do it, you can do it too" approach.
