Triathlon | Sankey visualization

Exploring different ways to visualize where athletes are throughout a race. This sankey example tracks the various methods athletes use to register for a race. It also tracks what type (PRO, age-group, team) each athlete is and what their current status (finish, active, DNF, DNS) is.

I think it makes sense to pair this view with an overall list of athletes to help race directors and managers get a sense of the entire race at any given time.
