Business Birthday Cards

Since I started dabbling in Adobe Photoshop, I became interested in the creation of vector graphics and smart objects. My girlfriend's chiropractic business needed some original birthday cards. I wanted to take a stab at digital illustrations. So via the drawing tools I created these "toons." The idea was to use them in the in-office branding material. The use of multiple layers allowed me to position the toons in different poses and emotive gestures. Like a painting, I started developing a layered technique to create 3D textured images. This was an early design when I first became interested in being a creator.
