Blotter Art
On April 19, 1943, Albert Hofmann took the first intentional dose of LSD, after accidentally absorving some through his fingertips a few days prior.
He took what he thought was a threshold dose of 250 micrograms, (a threshold dose is actually 0,2) with the psychoactive effects beginning to kick-in heavily he decided to cycle home, embarking on the first acid “trip” ever.
Not only a trip back to this home but a trip that influenced the consciousness and culture of millions in subsequent years and up to the present day.
To commemorate this day, I've made this very limited series of blotter art:
19 x 19 cm (7,5 X 7,5 inch) sheet of perforated paper.
900 tabs.
No LSD on the artwork but you may still eat it if you like.
Made in Wonderland.
Have a good trip and a grateful dead!
