Throwing it back with a branding project from a few years back to ring in the official launch of Ocotillo Salt Co and Dribbble's new Case Study feature.

Overview

Keeping it simple, Ocotillo Salt Co blends chile, lime, and salt for a seasoning worth sharing. Crafted in Texas with only the finest ingredients, these small batch spices are ideal for spicing up your favorite cocktail or snack, inspired by the bright red flowers of a blooming ocotillo plant.

Concepts

Primarily, our focus was to create an iconic image of a blooming ocotillo plant. Like the chile, lime and salt blend, the flowers are a bright red with a dotted texture as if they were sprinkled on the plant itself. Several marks were created in order to educate the consumer on the products within the spice blends as well as create a fun visual system that could be used for packaging, merchandise, etc.
