I stand for UA 🇺🇦

My Ukrainian -American heart hurts.Ukraine has gained their independence from the Soviet in union for only 30 years.What’s happening in Ukraine is heartbreaking, scary, and surreal. My mother is Ukrainian , her parents came to the states during WWII . My grandpa grew up in Lviv , and my grandmother Yaremcha/Komancza. I was able to go to Ukraine with my family in 2012 : Kiev , Lviv, Ivano F. , and even Chernobyl/ Prypriat. So seeing these areas in peril again is just sad ….. especially since it’s unnecessary.
