Torrance Air Logo

Torrance is a classic southern California beach town, which unfortunately grew up nestled around an oil refinery. I created this brand for an air quality monitoring project that features an online map of real-time air quality measurements near the refinery. The color palette and typography evoke clouds in the sky. The icon represents a map pin with a beach lifeguard white cross, shaped like a cloud, denoting air health measurements at specific locations on the seaside map.
