Pixel flags

I'm looking for advice here:

• should I go for US or UK flag? The company I'm doing this for has both american and british clients, so I cannot favor one over the other.

• I think I haven't done a great job on the UK glyph so it could use more work. How would you deal with the Union Jack at such small size?
