Philly Crafted - Exploration and Branding

I included my exploration file for this, I was working on the design for about 3 days to finally get to the finished mark. I wanted to lean hard on the Philly angle, my goal was to create a mark that had relevance to the city and that could be used across any site looking to boast about their roots.

Ultimately the vector Philly pretzel didn't make it in(sorry illustration is not my strong suit) but I was really happy with the keystone (Our state symbol) circuitry mark shown here.

Color-wise I went with 'beat you over the head' with Philadelphia, adopting the city colors of blue and yellow. I originally went for the bright blue that is more accurate to the flag, but the contrast just wasn't there.
