2019 Race Day Shirt (Front) :: Hard Cider Run
Each year, the Hard Cider Run race day shirt features the event’s mascot, “Mac,” wearing a different expression. Being an apple, we illustrated the character with a stem and leafy mustache and hair.
As the designs had been printed on green and red (typical apple colors) garments the previous two years, we opted for a bright blue to help this one stand out and add a Spring-like feeling through color.
The halftone shading was something we’d been using pretty consistently for the event’s visual aesthetic, so it was incorporated here as well to provide some depth and texture to the designs.
