Learn-On-The-Go Case Study App (Brainster Learn)

Brainster Learn was another one of Brainster’s projects that aimed towards creating an easy learn-on-the-go platform for users that would allow anyone to view case studies from anywhere, anytime. The main objective was to create a simple 3-step platform (sign in-click-watch). An easy-to-use and visually pleasing application that would benefit users' quick and easy learning. I began my analysis by finding existing applications that offered to learn on the go and easy access to education without going through too much of a hassle. It came down to one of the most popular apps and that’s Udemy. We noticed that the app was too clustered with information and it caused confusion whilst going thru the process of finding a proper course.

We took that to our advantage and made finding courses easier to do with just a few simple clicks. We had to set a timer for the courses as they would be available only the first 24 hours of publishing and then would disappear until next week where they would show up in your case studies folder. We had freedom of choice when it came down to design so we went a little creative with giving the application a serious, dark color that would be shined on with colorful case studies that would stand out and would be pleasing to the eye.

Throughout our research, we concluded that dark themes are becoming way more popular and are more effective considering that the user would be spending quite some time on the app and we want the experience to be nothing less than pleasing.
