Hand drawn illustrations – characters and caricatures

Capturing the essence of a character is all about identifying the features that make them unmistakably who they are, and then exaggerating these features. At the same time, downplaying generic characteristics, allows for stylised simplicity with impact. I love using ink, markers, fine liners and acrylic paint which all allow for a quick and expressive illustration.
