First Night - Movie Poster

This poster illustration was commissioned by Milwaukee film director and producer Joseph Bowes. He had just finished filming an indie short about a girl turned vampire, and her first night feeding. The whole production was set to neon lights and featured synthwave music, so they really wanted to pull that feeling into the movie poster with highly saturated colors and lighting. The overall artwork was inspired by vintage horror movie posters featuring damsels in distress running through the woods with a forced visual weight pinning you between the victim and pursuer.
