The Spice Market

(WIP)

The Spice Market is a remake of the thesis exhibition/worldbuilding experiment Naukratis rendered in a toon-shaded style driven and inspired by the game SABLE and the work of Jean "Moebius" Giraud.

Each item within the stand exists symbiotically, ranging from the price labels pinned on top of the spice mounds, to the unique types of spice crates sitting on the top shelf.

As with the thesis project, the goal of the project is to demonstrate the synonymous nature of graphic design, branding, and worldbuilding through semiotics, and how designed items can tell a story within an environment.
