The fast fashion business model creates more clothes than people are capable of consuming, and a huge part is not recycled but ends up in landfills. At the same time, the production of fabrics, clothing and transportation negatively affects the climate. Meanwhile, virtual fashion minimizes emissions because it does not require any resources other than electricity and does not need to use transport to send it to the final consumer.
By modernizing the process so that influencers and those who buy products only for a photo or a special occasion switch to a different consumption model - the use of virtual clothing. Of course, this format will not completely replace analog clothing, but it will take a certain market share.
In order to "try on" virtual clothes on a photo, the user will need to select the item of clothing he likes, add it to the cart and, when placing an order, attach the photo on which he wanted to see new clothes. After some time, the buyer receives his photo, but with new clothes. This service is already on the market by several companies, but only one company is developing the application.
In addition to the main function, the project contains the News section. The purpose of this section is to raise awareness about virtual clothing, environmental issues and how the fashion business affects them, as well as related topics such as fashion weeks, new technologies, etc.
Also, the application will be supplemented with an AR function that will allow people to "try on" virtual clothes in real time. This technology does not give such a realistic result as the work of a designer, but it allows you to see for free how this piece of clothing will look on buyers, which helps to make a choice, and also attracts customers who are not yet ready to make a purchase, but are already beginning to be interested in this topic.
