Abuse is abuse. Let's talk about it!

I recently had a discussion with a random guy at the bar. He had been thinking about getting a divorce because his wife was abusive but getting a divorce is a very big deal in India so he had social pressure not to go ahead with it. during our conversation he used the phrase, "yeah, but she only hit me once (that day)" which ticked me off. She hit you! period. abuse goes both ways, not just when a guy hits his wife. Abuse is Abuse and its completely okay to talk about it! this event made me want to make something on it so here we are.
