Hand-lettered logo outlining

Starting to vectorize this hand-lettered logo I designed. Letters were written with a brushtip pen on maker paper and then scanned. The issue i'm having with outlining is deciding now many of the little imperfections to maintain on the vector and how many to smooth over. The imperfections are what makes it unique to me so trying to keep them around as much as possible in the "distilled" vector version.
