Domain Name Auction Platform

This is my final design of an Auction platform specifically tailored for the listing of domain names under the Nigerian ccTLD ".ng". The need for this was identified after the recent ban of Twitter by the Nigerian government as this is where the Registry usually host their Auctions.

I started my design process by gathering data based on the previous Auction. From this I was able to deduce the primary functions needed by key stakeholder users who would participate in the Auction and my process aligned with these necessary functions for the System.

I developed a rough sketch which helped me build my wire frame for user testing. Based on the feedback gotten from the first user test stage I was able to make changes to the wire frame and create the first (Lo-Fi) Prototype. This was again tested by the users to ensure that indeed facilitated a seamless bidding process for the .NG Domain Auction.

Once the ease of Auction bidding and listing through the created design was established I was able to create the final design to aid the development team create the Auction Platform.
