The Strategy

I was part of the technical, creative and marketing team tasked with the creation and branding of REVO.

 

REVO is a product Offerstation Sdn Bhd, a company member of the Innity Group. It is available for use in Malaysia via web browser and mobile app on App Store and Google Play.

We are currently planning for future expansions to Indonesia and Vietnam.

 

The Execution

 

First introduced to the market in December 2019, REVO is the first card-linked rewards platform to launch in Malaysia that caters to all types of contactless payment users of various lifestyles. What makes us different is that users are not required to reload money into our app; all you have to do is link your existing credit cards and pay as you usually would. The cash back will be tracked and reflected into your REVO account, and you can then withdraw the money into your bank account easily. 

Most importantly, REVO promises a safe and secure platform as we securely encrypt your credit card data with 256-bit bank-level encryption, and we never store your card details.

 

We believe reward-based marketing is a powerful tool because it puts consumers in control while giving them additional value to engage with brands. With these new partnerships, we are excited to introduce our users to a more seamless and efficient method of contactless payment whilst rewarding them with cash back deals.

 

On top of great offers and popular brands on REVO, we drive spending with multiple drivers like:

 

Power Up NOW to Drive Awareness, Consideration and Higher Purchase Value - Reward users with cash back when they spend certain amounts or within a stipulated time at our partner stores.

 

Power Up TOGETHER to Drive Referrals and Acquire New Customers - Reward groups of users with cash back plus a bonus when they collectively spend together to hit a higher target amount.

 

REVO Rewards: Coins, Videos & Vouchers - REVO will reward users with REVO coins every time they watch one of our branded videos or spend at a partner merchant's participating store. The users can then use the REVO coins to redeem vouchers for even more cash back!

Platform Campaigns

On top of spend driving mechanics and marketing partnerships, we also run platform campaigns during festive and off periods to drive more spending (please refer to screenshot above labelled 'REVO Platform Campaigns')
