Hamon Studies

Hey there everyone,

I had some spare time and used it to follow one of my passions... which is the japanese Culture. After I did a Daishô I digged deeper into the essence of a hamon and came up with two different concepts - one is based on a rather textured look (more refined than in the original shot) and one on some brushes. You can see the result in this shot, as well as my approach on a "modern" katana.

Not sure which one feels better, both have something I enjoy...
