In Progress: MARCH RADNESS

Hey dribbbabygirls,

I’ve been having a grand time trying to channel the look and feel of 90s basketball into this poster for Gallery5. That teal color is inspired by a Charlotte Hornets windbreaker that I can’t quite place in my memory — I don’t think I owned it, but maybe one of my friends did?

Anyways, the 90s, and in particular graphic design for basketball in the 90s, was wonderfully bonkers and maximalist. Just google it and you’ll see! Also, basketball is cool. Check out Be Holding by Ross Gay.
