Sol Salon

I designed Sol Salon's interior and branding to strike a balance between posh post-modernism and midtown Phoenix grit. The palatial entry archway, polished brass pedestals and grandiose velvet curtain walls are contrasted by custom industrial chain pendants and exposed cinder block partitions. To make the small space feel larger, custom door-height arched mirrors were mounted to the floor at each station, giving the illusion of doorways to more rooms within the space. Inspired by the owner's proud chicano heritage, the custom steel signage was designed to resemble a lowrider's chainlink steering wheel. Branding, interior design, website design, photography and videography completed by me.
