Eye Opener

Eye Opener is a high end curated vintage shop in Sunnyslope, Arizona. Taking pride in the weirdness and mystique of Sunnyslope, the branding was designed to be enigmatic and offbeat, yet sharp and refined. The simple EO ligature logomark comes alive with psychedelic personality, and the custom monospace Bauhausian typography (constructed using the same architecture as the mark) boasts unapologetic postmodern funk. Taking inspiration from an iconic vintage Phoenix element, a custom breeze block pattern was developed using the typography and logomark’s strict shared skeleton to be used at branded room dividers. Finally, to pay homage to Sunnyslope’s namesake landmark, a masonic style badge was designed featuring the famous slope represented as an opening eye.
