Cocina Campesina

Don Chepe, Doña Guadalupe and their family graciously shared their home with me for a month back in 1982. It was a transformative learning experience.

This is my original plein air sketch. A lot of room for improvement, but my main intention was to simply record the details of this place. I had lost my camera, so my pencil and pad were all I had. Years later, I rendered a woodcut version.
