Alexandria

Alexandria is a city with close relations to George Washington, located about 11 kilometers south from the District of Columbia which it belonged to from 1791 on, but was retroceded to Virginia in 1846. Interesting sights are the George Washington Masonic National Memorial and the Old Presbyterian Meeting House.
