Are we not empty?

Guided by emotions,

Built for procreation,

Hot wired to serve our other gender,

slaves to our very nature,

victimized by ego.

Driven by culture and beliefs,

Lackeys to silver and gold

A factor of war and violence.

Have we forgotten the reason we exist?

Do we still grasp the importance of life?

Have we murdered our sense of morality?

Our innocence?

A reset button, a loophole, a gateway,

we need an escape from this reality,

A doorway to our creators path,

Have we forgotten to live?
