Dami and Seyi Wedding Monogram

Getting married to Damilola, my long-time girlfriend and business partner in a few weeks so I commissioned the amazing calligrapher, Kazeem, to create a monogram for our wedding invitations and access card.

We decided to move forward with this calligraphic style because the intertwined, overlapping connection between the letters feels like a great metaphor for how Dami and I feel about each other. I decided to add the little wear and tear because it's reflective of our relationship. We've remained strong, connected, complimentary and beautiful regardless of the challenges we've faced. I feel really happy that we've chosen each other. I love her so much.

Also used the opportunity to practice my topology, HDRI lighting and surface imperfections skills.
