Captain Fermento Foods Logo Design

Vintage flying pig Logo Concept for Captain Fermento Foods, a small Australian business that manufactures artisan fermented foods in an “old-school” way, relying on Hungarian traditions.

The mascot was inspired by Victorian era zoological lexicon illustrations and the entire design by XIXth century liquor label stamps with engravings, with a touch of art nouveau. The hand-drawn logo is mature, literal & sophisticated, with an ornamental frame & the texture of antique paper to echo the authenticity of the product and represent a strong connection to the past.
