Overview

Fixr comes as a necessity for me and my peers. While being in the process of moving to another apartment, I have come across problems that I couldn’t solve by myself. My purpose is to design a mobile application that shows professionals in your area and puts the users in contact with one another.

Home Screen

The Home Screen of Fixr is the place where our users get most of their information. They can search for professional help, choose from various categories and learn how to take better care of their homes. The categories lead them to registered profiles, where they can contact professionals based on their reviews and experience.

Book a Professional

The process of making a booking is easy and intuitive. As the user checks the professionals’ profile, they can see where he/she is based, their previous experience, contact and availability. The primary button ‘Book’ takes the user to a calendar where they can see the professionals’ availability. By selecting a free day, they make the booking.

Chat before Meeting

This function assures people that they can get the necessary help. Chatting with the service provider before meeting is an essential part of the application, so that each party understands exactly what needs to be done. The users can set up a time for the meeting, explain the problems that they are trying to solve and set up the price.
