Logroño 2021
Logroño 2021 is the event that will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Siege of Logroño, in which the people of Logroño resisted the French siege thanks to the fishing of the Ebro River. For this reason, trout, wine and bread are the most representative elements of the festival at a popular level.
To break with the straight shapes of a logo that dispenses with script typography (manual) and bring to the whole the closeness and warmth that the manual stroke achieves, the illustrations that can be seen for the applications are essential. By means of a limited color palette and a fluid stroke thickness, illustrations capable of impacting with a simplicity that this design demanded have been achieved. The Logroñeses with characteristic elements of 1521 such as clothing and the motif of celebration along with the loaves, fishes, wine, the coat of arms of Logroño with the three fleurs-de-lis and the flag, are the protagonists of this story. With this tribute, allusion is made to all that the citizens obtained, making the human factor essential.
